On this time, the client wanted to close a parcel where he had his caravan, and to make it a place protected from the sun, inclement weather and at the same time provide a privacy.
Toldos Costa Blanca was the selected company to make the work, making previously an aluminum structure lacquered in white, which provided the necessary support for acrylic canvas fabrics. This type of enclosures or pergolas can also be made with PVC which is better when we talk about waterproofing, if is a drizzle, normally this kind of structures it support a small amount of water, in storms cases we recommend roll up the awning.
On top we installed a pergola awning with opening sides, which allows to enjoy the sun or the starry nights, also allows to protect from the light rain because the inclination evacuates the water by an effective way. It is necessary to keep in mind that it is an structure not designed to support a lot of water (in those cases we recommend roll up the awning), although a light drizzle can be supported without any problem.
In the central part we chose curtains with a window and a door that allows access so it is not necessary to lift the curtains.
In the right side we also chose a curtain with window to allow the entrance of light and, in the left side a curtain without window to preserve the pprivacy.
Normally the campsites of the province of Alicante allows the construction of elements denominated “non fixed”, in the plots of the campers.

Can you enclose a campsite pitch with awnings?
Usually, yes, because campsites in the province of Alicante normally allow non-fixed elements on campers' pitches. In Benidorm we built a white lacquered aluminium frame with a pergola awning on top and curtains around it to protect the caravan pitch from sun and weather.
Does a campsite awning enclosure cope with rain?
It copes with drizzle. The pergola roof is sloped and drains water well, but it is not designed for heavy rain, so in a storm it should be rolled up. For better waterproofing, the roof can be made in PVC instead of acrylic fabric.
How do you get into an awning enclosure without lifting the curtains?
Through a curtain with a door. On this pitch we fitted curtains with windows and a door at the front, another curtain with a window on the right to let in light, and one without a window on the left for privacy.
