Orange fabric awning under a grey aluminium frame on a penthouse terrace with sofas

Veranda awning for porches and glass roofs

A veranda awning is fitted under a glass or polycarbonate roof and opens with a motor when the sun gets strong. Your porch or conservatory no longer turns into an oven in summer, and in winter you retract it to enjoy the light. It is modular, so there is no limit on width or projection.

How it works

A load-bearing frame houses the roller tube, the gas struts that keep the fabric taut and the guides it runs along. It is motorised with a remote control and can be programmed to open and close by itself.

When it makes sense

  3. Step 03

    Made in our factory

We make it in our own premises in Elche, with materials chosen to stand up to the Mediterranean climate.

  4. Step 04

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Where does a veranda awning go?

Under a glass or polycarbonate roof, to give shade when you need it and retract when you want the light.

Does it need a motor?

Yes, it runs on a motor with a remote control and can be programmed.

What is the maximum size?

It is modular, so there is no limit. We recommend modules of up to 5 x 5 metres.

What pitch does the roof need?

A minimum of 15° for the awning to work properly.

Does it really reduce the heat under the roof?

It stops the sun before it reaches the space below, which is where the heat comes from. How much the temperature drops depends on the orientation and the ventilation of the porch.

How is it different from a bioclimatic pergola?

A veranda awning is added to a roof you already have. A bioclimatic pergola is the roof itself, with adjustable louvres.
