Shop front awnings and canopies
A shop awning keeps the sun off the window display and the goods, gives shade at the door and makes the shop visible from down the street. We make it to the width of the front and in the colours of your business. We can also do it all in English.
Types for a shop front
Canopy awning
A straight canopy awning fixed to the wall over a door or window. We also fit new fabric to existing canopies.
Retractable or drop-arm awning
For a wide front, a retractable awning or a drop-arm awning covers the whole window and closes at night.
Town hall rules
An awning over the pavement usually needs a licence from the town hall, which sets how far it can project and how high it has to be. We explain it in the installation of awnings on facades and their legality.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can you print my logo on the awning?
The fabric is made in the colours of your business. Tell us what you need at the visit and we will tell you the options.
Do I need a licence for a shop awning?
Usually yes, if it projects over the public pavement. The town hall sets the conditions.
How much does a shop awning cost?
It depends on the width of the shop front, the type of awning, the fabric and whether it has a motor. We measure the front and the quote comes in writing, with a fixed price and no obligation.
