Can a garden awning stand without a wall?
Yes. A pergola awning has its own posts, and shade sails can hang from masts set in the garden, so neither needs the house. We anchor them to hold in the wind.
Do I need permission for a garden awning?
If it stands free in the garden of a detached house, you usually do not. If it is fixed to the facade of a building with a community of owners, you need the community's approval, and it may ask for a set colour and model. We go over it with you on the visit.
How much does a garden awning cost?
