Beach shade canopies and sails
On the beach the shade has to cope with strong sun, wind and salt every day. We make shade sails and fabric covers for beach bars, seafront terraces and public spaces, with fittings chosen for the sea. We work in English as well as Spanish.
What we make for the seafront
Shade sails for walkways and seafront terraces, fixed with stainless steel fittings, and fabric covers on metal frames. For Alicante town hall we made and fitted the fabric cover of the pier on the island of Tabarca, which we explain in this post.
For a beach bar or restaurant terrace, look at our restaurant awnings and restaurant terrace enclosures.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do you make shade for beach bars?
Yes, sails, awnings and enclosures for bar and restaurant terraces. A terrace on the beach needs its own permits, which the business applies for.
How do they hold up to the wind?
We size the anchors and choose the fabric for the spot. Sails and awnings should be taken in or checked when strong wind is forecast.
How much does beach shade cost?
It depends on the size of the area, the type of structure (sails or a fabric cover on a frame) and the fabric. We visit the site, look at how it will be anchored and give you a fixed written quote, with no obligation to go ahead.
